Pub walk and Wandering around Long Eaton

Just a quick review of the pub walk last night - Fantastic! Walked around the streets and across the paddock  and sat at the pub for a lovely drink in the mild British weather!!!

What a glorious day we had today! The sun was out and the weather was warm and Fiona was driving again!!!
Fiona and Charlie Brown
We started the day by going into the town of Long Eaton to exchange some money for different currencies. Fiona's husband Dave is off to the USA on the job and wanted some US dollars, so I thought I might as well stock up on some Euros in preparation for my trip to the Continent next weekend. We went to the Post Office and Dave's dollars were easy, but it was very hard for me to get those Euros. We ended up going out to the ATM and getting cash and then exchanging those GBPs for Euros. But at least we succeeded so I'm ready for the change of currency next weekend.

Here's a few views of the lovely little town of Long Eaton

Our next excursion was to go to Chatsworth house, but I might start another post for that.
